Let me just say that first off someone would be crazy to use these recipes daily and substitutions can be made to make the ingredients lower fat, lower sugar, etc if one desires to do so. I am not thrilled with Coffee Mate either so that would be the first to go. In reality though, it is a coffee creamer.On that note, I have made several of the recipes in this cookbook for my food blog and each came out extremely well and high quality. I condider the Dutch Chocolate Wine Delight to actually be restaurant quality.

I have to agree withs ome other reviewers who felt the recipes in this book were not only unhealthy but some of them seem like to much work to be worth the effort.
I'll be honest and tell you that I have not made any of these recipes and don't really plan to, so my rating is soming directly from the reading of each recipe alone and not the actual trial of them. While many of them sound like they would probably be delicious, especially with all of the gourmet and flavored coffee drinks available today, the calorie and ingredient list they contain makes them something I would in no way want to be making and ingesting on a daily basis.
I LOVE cream in my very dark, strong coffee, but I don't like dry coffee creamer, butter flavored shortening, or using a can of sweetened condensed milk, but you might be OK with that.
I'll admit I was curious how a whole book could be dedicated to creamers. The layout could be better (has a lot of white space), but there is a lot of good and interesting information provided by the author before each recipe. Also additional tips AFTER each recipe. I'm sure you're smart enough to NOT use these creamers every day or you could suddenly find yourself 20 lbs heavier and wondering how you got there! With all the sugar and flavorings, they must be wonderful.
This book is awesome! For those of us who love coffee but hate the price of expensive dreamers this book is a must have! Lots of great recipes that are easy and delicious!

I just finished making the Amazing Amaretto creamer and the Peppermint Blast creamer....so yummy. You can adjust the recipes to your taste and how much you put into your cup. This is not diet. I'm sure if that is what you want you can adapt a few of the recipes inside. Great book for non cooks. Very easy to read.

I had been looking for one being I have tendencies of running out of
the store bought kind. Now I can make my own and save my self a couple bucks in doing so. Great book on some creamers I usually buy. This is a keeper.
I'd actually consider this ebook a strong 3.5. Some of the recipes are tasty, but many are a bit on the basic side. Most are easy and fast to make, which is a plus if you don't feel like messing around and just want an interesting flavored coffee.
I was surprised to see the negative reviews based on using coffee creamer as an ingredient. After all, that ingredient is in the book title, so it wasn't a surprise, and there are many unhealthy recipes in gourmet cooking that no one rates 1 star due to their lack of healthiness. Besides, you can find healthier creamers and light creamers that will work just fine in these recipes.
